Overwatch x Stellar Blade Collaboration Announced as EVE Protocol
Blizzard and Shift Up tease a new crossover, but the release date and character skins remain under wraps.

Blizzard Entertainment and Shift Up have announced a new collaboration between Overwatch and Stellar Blade, titled EVE Protocol.
The crossover was revealed on October 23, 2026, through official social media posts from both games. Stellar Blade's account shared a teaser image featuring the Overwatch x EVE Protocol logo, alongside the message: "You have my attention!"

The name EVE Protocol comes from Stellar Blade's story, where protagonist Eve is sent to Earth as part of a mission to reclaim the planet.
What Will the Overwatch x Stellar Blade Collaboration Include?
For now, neither Blizzard nor Shift Up has revealed what the crossover will bring to Overwatch.
Stellar Blade-themed hero skins are a likely possibility, given Overwatch's previous collaborations, but no characters or cosmetic items have been officially confirmed.
Fans are already discussing which Overwatch heroes could receive outfits inspired by Eve, Tachy, Raven, and other Stellar Blade characters.
There is also no word yet on event challenges, free rewards, shop bundles, or pricing.
When Does Overwatch x Stellar Blade Start?
The Overwatch x Stellar Blade collaboration does not have an official release date yet.
The announcement arrives during Overwatch Season 5: Dark Creed, which recently introduced the new Support hero Doctrine and the Escort map Watchpoint: Grímsvötn.
Some community reports suggest EVE Protocol could arrive with a mid-season update, but Blizzard has not confirmed that timing.
More details about the collaboration's release schedule and in-game content will be announced later.
Editor's Comment
Stellar Blade's character designs seem like a natural fit for an Overwatch skin collaboration. The big question now is which heroes will get the outfits—and how closely they'll match the originals.
