Fortnite x One Piece Officially Confirmed, Treasure Hunters Begins November 1

Epic Games has officially announced a collaboration between Fortnite and One Piece, confirming one of the game's most anticipated anime crossovers.

The announcement came on October 24, 2026, when Fortnite's official X account shared a short teaser featuring the Going Merry, the Straw Hat Pirates' first ship. The vessel emerges from the fog beneath a full moon before the Fortnite and One Piece logos appear together.

The reveal follows weeks of rumors and pirate-themed teasers in Fortnite, including a giant treasure chest that appeared on the island ahead of the announcement.

When Is Fortnite x One Piece Coming Out?

The collaboration is tied to Fortnite's upcoming mini-season, Treasure Hunters, which begins on November 1, 2026, following the end of Chapter 7 Season 4.

The new season focuses on pirates and treasure hunting, with One Piece joining a wider lineup of collaborations. Teasers have also pointed to appearances by Hatsune Miku, Kasane Teto, A$AP Rocky, and Lil Uzi Vert.

However, Epic Games has not confirmed whether the One Piece content will arrive when Treasure Hunters launches on November 1 or later in the season.

The mini-season is expected to last roughly a month before Fortnite moves into Chapter 8, although its exact duration has not been officially announced.

One Piece Skins and Rumored Crossover Content

Epic Games has yet to reveal which One Piece characters will appear in Fortnite or what items the collaboration will include.

Rumors have suggested that Monkey D. Luffy could be among the featured characters, with Roronoa Zoro, Nami, and Sanji also frequently mentioned as possible skins. However, no character lineup has been officially announced.

Previous Fortnite anime collaborations, including Naruto, Dragon Ball, and Jujutsu Kaisen, have introduced character outfits, themed accessories, and sometimes special weapons or abilities.

One Piece could receive similar treatment, with potential cosmetics such as pickaxes, emotes, and back blings. There has also been speculation about Devil Fruit abilities, pirate-themed locations, and a ship-inspired Battle Bus, though none of these features have been confirmed.

The Going Merry's appearance suggests that the crossover may draw heavily from the One Piece anime rather than the live-action adaptation, but Epic has not clarified which character designs will be used.

Details about V-Bucks prices, bundles, Battle Pass rewards, and Item Shop availability are still unknown.

Editor's Comment

One Piece feels like a natural fit for Fortnite's treasure-hunting theme, especially after years of requests from fans. The Going Merry teaser is a good start, but the real question is how much of the One Piece world will make it into the game beyond character skins.
