Valorant Reveals New Duelist Hush, a Telekinetic Agent From China
Riot Games reveals Hush, a new Chinese Duelist with telekinetic powers, arriving in Valorant on October 27.

Riot Games officially revealed Hush, Valorant's newest Duelist, in a cinematic trailer released on October 18 during the Valorant Champions 2026 Grand Finals in Shanghai.
Hailing from Guangdong, China, Hush brings telekinetic powers to the battlefield, allowing her to manipulate objects, reposition herself, and disrupt enemies. She is the third Chinese agent after Sage and Iso, and is expected to join the roster with Season 26 Act VI on October 27.
Hush's Trailer Shows Off Her Telekinetic Powers
The new cinematic, titled RISE AND FALL, takes place inside a restaurant, where Hush finds herself surrounded by armed enemies. Rather than reaching for a weapon, she uses her powers to take a Ghost pistol from an opponent before turning the fight in her favor.
Throughout the confrontation, Hush moves objects without touching them, pulls enemies out of position, and appears to manipulate gravity itself. In one particularly striking moment, she throws a die and quickly moves toward its location, hinting at the mobility mechanics in her playable kit.
The trailer also highlights her distinctive appearance, with pale pink-purple hair, glowing eyes, and a dark outfit. Its neon-lit setting, Cantonese dialogue, and stylized action give the reveal a strong Hong Kong cinema feel.
The cinematic features "It's You" by Karencici, adding to the trailer's atmosphere.
Hush's Abilities and Playstyle

Hush is a Duelist, but her abilities suggest a different approach from traditional movement-focused agents such as Jett and Neon. Her kit combines mobility, flashes, and crowd control, giving her several ways to create openings during a fight.
Her five reported abilities are:
- Telekinesis (Passive): Allows Hush to pick up weapons and the Spike, and interact with switches from a greater distance.
- Flow (C): Creates an anchor that Hush can move toward. When activated in midair, she briefly levitates before being propelled toward it.
- Flashbulb (Q): Throws a flash projectile that can be redirected before detonation, giving players more control over where it lands.
- Displacement (E): Launches a projectile that pulls nearby players toward its center. Players who collide with a surface or another player are concussed. The ability refreshes after two kills.
- Suspension (X): Sends out a steerable orb that lifts players caught within its area into the air when detonated.
These mechanics have been described in reveal-day ability coverage, although their exact ranges, timings, and effectiveness will need to be tested in live matches.
Could Hush Change Valorant's Duelist Meta?
What makes Hush interesting is how much control she appears to have over a fight.
Most Duelists rely on movement or abilities that help them win direct engagements. Hush can potentially do both while also disrupting enemy positioning. Her pulling ability could force defenders out of cover, while her flash and movement tools may help her take advantage of the opening.
Her passive could also create some unusual situations. Being able to retrieve a dropped Spike or weapon from a distance might save a risky pickup, particularly when an enemy is holding the angle.
That versatility has already caught players' attention. In early community discussions, fans have praised her design and creative ability kit, while others have questioned whether giving a Duelist mobility, flashes, and crowd control could make her too self-sufficient.
Still, it is too early to know where Hush will fit into the competitive meta. Her ability timings, cooldowns, and how easily opponents can counter her utility will likely determine whether she becomes a popular pick or a more situational choice.
When Does Hush Release in Valorant?

Hush is expected to become playable on October 27, 2026, in the Americas, with other regions reportedly receiving her on October 28.
Players will reportedly be able to unlock her through the agent recruitment event by earning 200,000 XP. After the event, she is expected to be available for 10,000 Kingdom Credits or 1,000 Valorant Points.
Editor's Comment
Hush looks like one of Valorant's more interesting recent Duelists, mainly because her abilities aren't just about getting into a fight faster. The ability to pull enemies around, control a flash, and interact with objects from a distance could make her genuinely fun to experiment with.
The big question is whether she can do too much on her own. A Duelist with this many tools sounds powerful on paper, but we'll have a better idea once players get their hands on her.
